Middlesex Cricket bowled over using the ILG Elite Sports App

Middlesex Cricket is one of eighteen first class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Since 1877 the club has played its home matches at Lord’s Cricket Ground in St John’s Wood London – the spiritual home of the game.

Middlesex Cricket is one of the most successful clubs in the county set-up, having won thirteen County Championship titles (including 2 shared titles) – the most recent in 2016.  In limited overs cricket, they have won two Benson & Hedges Cups, four one-day cricket titles, one National League title and the Twenty20 Cup in 2008, through which they became the first county club to qualify for both the Stanford Super Series and the twenty20 Champions League.

The Ultimate Sports Performance Software

ILG Business LTD is proud to announce they are now the “Official Online Performance Software” providers for Middlesex Cricket.  The ILG Elite Sports App will be used by players and coaches to ensure that fundamental day-to-day tasks run efficiently, in turn improving overall performance.

Middlesex Cricket are using our using the messaging section, which allows coaches to directly message players, creating a private conversation within the app, eliminating the use of emails and text messages.  Within messaging, you can also create a group message to more than one player. Or, if the message is more of an alert you can send a notification.  This has meant that Middlesex Cricket are able to come away from What’s App, knowing that all players and coaches have complete communication at all times.

Other features that are being used by Middlesex Cricket are Team Feed and Calendar.  Team Feed is where you can keep the whole team updated, by uploading game stats, upcoming events, pre-match preparation and video clips. The Calendar ensures that all players and coaches have access to the latest schedule or itinerary.  Notifications can be sent to advise the players of any changes to the schedules/team meetings etc.

Richard Goatley, Middlesex Cricket’s Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to be working with ILG, recognised leaders in the field, and are absolutely confident that the new Middlesex Cricket App will ensure smooth, effective and safe communications within our cricket department.”

ILG Business LTD is extremely proud that Middlesex Cricket are using our software and are looking forward to working with Middlesex Cricket in the future and help grow their championship status over the next season.
