The Approach
ILG Business started in November 2009. It all started on a Saracens golf day, when the Director Richard, was playing with some of the Saracens players, and they mentioned about wanting an App for their team. Richard being the businessman he is, advised that he would be able to complete this for them. ILG sat for a few months with Saracens, working alongside them to find out exactly what their requirements were and what they wanted to do with the app.
They wanted an app that could be used for communication, analysis and document storage.
The Solution
Rugby giants, Saracens, go to the next level in performance applications. By using ILG Business, they are able to use their Elite Sports Application to deliver instant updates to players alongside instant record
updates from coaches and physios around injuries and player performance. Coaches are able to record scrums, lineouts etc. from their iPhones/iPads and directly upload to the player’s performance folder
without the need for unnecessary emails.
They use the Elite Hub (our cloud server) to store team related documents. Folders and files can be
permissioned to allow certain users access to specific areas of the ILG Hub. Files can be downloaded locally to the app and viewed whilst the device is offline.
Wellbeing, Training Data and Pro Review are also features that are heavily used enabling the coaches to
collect players’ data which can then be analysed. Training data allows R.P.E. scores to be collected and
presented in graphical form.
