What a great time some of our customers are having with some amazing wins!

Saracens – Saracens became champions of Europe for the first time as they ground out victory against Racing 92 in the Champions Cup final in Lyon. Saracens also became the first team in the competition’s history to win all nine games in the tournament on their way to becoming champions.

Saracens also beat Exeter Chiefs to win the Premiership final and become the first English side to complete a domestic and European double since 2004. Victory also means that Saracens have become the first English club, since Wasps 12 years ago, to win the top-flight and European titles in the same season.

GB Taekwondo – Jade Jones wins first European title. The 23-year-old Welsh star warmed up for her Olympic Games title defence in Rio with a comprehensive 11-5 success over Glasnovic in the -57kg final.

GB girl power strikes again as Walkden retains European title, Bianca Walkden crowned a golden award winning European Championship for GB Taekwondo by retaining her title and adding to last season’s World Championship success.

Welsh wonder Williams wins Euro crown in only second senior tournament. Teenager Lauren Williams won Great Britain’s second European Championship gold medal in only her second senior competition in Montreux, Switzerland.

GB Judo –  GB Judo are having a great run up to Rio with their Gold, Silver and Bronze wins at the VI Judo Grand Prix.

Britain’s Natalie Powell won bronze at the Mexico World Masters to qualify for Rio 2016, meaning London 2012 silver medallist Gemma Gibbons misses out.  Commonwealth champion Powell, 25, will be the first Welsh woman to compete in judo at the Olympics after collecting more ranking points than Gibbons, 29.

Bristol Rugby – Bristol Rugby secure Premiership promotion. Bristol Rugby has won promotion to the Premiership after seven years of trying. 16,000 fans packed into Ashton Gate watching their heroes play for promotion. They carried a 15 point lead into the Championship playoff final second leg against Doncaster.  A flurry of tries after the break saw the visitors win 32-34 on the night, but Bristol had the last laugh.
